Welcome to Surrogacy Sisters!
Private Surrogacy Arrangements in Australia
S
urrogacy is an arrangement between a woman and a couple or individual to carry and deliver a baby.
In many cases, the process is an expensive,
time consuming, and emotional one.
There is also the possibility that the
surrogate will change her mind about
giving up the rights after birth.
I have created this web site to offer everyone choices- however
I remain eternally realistic!- and encourage you to explore all options open to you.
The options available within Australia are unfortunately limited- for example a single women cannot adopt within Queensland- even if an international adoption agency can arrange for her to adopt a
child. She can't then bring the baby into the country! What options are therefore available to single women or lesbian couples who dream of being loving and responsible parents?
One of my most popular websites - FSDW (Free Sperm Donations Worldwide) was created in 2005 as I knew that many many men wanted to help- without charge- however laws had made choices limited worldwide, regarding anonimity. Many also wanted to have a choice regarding who they donated to- and wanted to meet and select a women or couple, in the same way FSDW members want to choose their own donor. The site has grown- with over 2500 men now registered as willing to donate to the right person, or couples! It's truly amazing. Thousands of women and couples are now parents as a result- and it has inspired me to reach out and help even more people.
Through 'Surrogacy Sisters' I now hope to
help women who are willing to be a surrogate connect with women and couples
wanting to be parents through surrogacy.
The new Members Area will be officially open very shortly- thanks for your patience!
In the meantime please do email me with any questions - and
keep your dreams alive!
Emma:-)

The Commonwealth Government of Australia cannot universally legislate for reproductive technology practice. Therefore each state and territory is responsible for designing and implementing separate legislation. This has resulted in laws and practices that differ from state to state.
